The director of Nice, Roger Ricort, wants to offload several unwanted players, including attacker Kevin Carlos.

Nice are willing to sell 25-year-old Spanish centre-forward Kevin Carlos during the summer transfer window. The French club signed him from Swiss champions FC Basel for approximately €6 million in August 2025, and they are now hoping to lower their wage bill and generate funds for new signings. During the 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, Carlos made 23 appearances and provided one assist. His contract with the French club runs until 2030, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €4.00m. Samsunspor and Preston North End have been mentioned as potential destinations.
