Kenneth Omeruo, who has played 69 times for Nigeria at the international level, has joined CFR Cluj as a free agent. Omeruo brings a wealth of international experience, having competed in top-tier leagues in England, Spain, the Netherlands, and Turkey. He has participated in over 120 matches across Spain's top two divisions with Leganés and has played more than 100 matches in Turkey's top division with teams such as Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor. Additionally, Omeruo has served as captain of the Nigerian national team and was part of the squad that won the African Cup of Nations in 2013. His experience is regarded as a valuable asset to CFR Cluj, particularly as they prepare to face Paks in the Europa League qualifiers.
