Goal.com reports that talks have reportedly already taken place between Kennet Eichhorn and BVB's sporting director Ole Book and coach Niko Kovac.

According to Bild, Kennet Eichhorn will leave Hertha BSC in the summer for a fee of around 12 million euros. The publication notes that his first goal in the Second Division is probably also his final goal for the club.

Hertha BSC's Managing Director, Dr. Peter Görlich, announced that the club will reduce its squad size and adjust its expenditure structure. Prominent players like Kennet Eichhorn are explicitly mentioned as possible departures. Görlich said that if offers are received for players, Hertha has to carefully examine them due to the club's situation and make decisions together with the players.
