Kennedy Boateng has received an offer from a club in China with a salary much higher than what Dinamo can offer. According to Radio Dinamo, the player already had the offer from the Chinese club, which also tried to sign him this winter for a fee, but Dinamo opposed the move.

Dinamo's president, Andrei Nicolescu, stated that the matter concerning Boateng is concluded for the club. He added that there are discussions and persistent efforts and that the situation is not yet settled. Nicolescu described the player as a person of great character and said they are trying to find a solution that is good for both parties. The coach, Zeljko Kopic, said that Boateng had very good offers, but the club's decision is to not make changes until the summer. Kopic added that he believes in Boateng's personality and human quality and that he will continue to work at the same level. The coach also mentioned that the player has contributed much to the club, but the club has also provided much to him.

Dinamo official Andrei Nicolescu has reported that Kennedy Boateng, who is at the end of his contract, does not want to extend it. Speaking to Prima Sport, Nicolescu stated that the club's management made a good offer and unimaginable efforts for an extension, but Boateng was not convinced to stay. The official added that while Boateng also has a discussion to leave now, the club does not think it will act on that possibility. Nicolescu described the situation as complex and said the offer for the player is from a club abroad that can afford to pay.

Kennedy Boateng received a tempting offer from Neftchi Baku, which was ready to pay a significant amount for his transfer. However, the transfer will not take place, at least this summer. Zeljko Kopic, the head coach of Dinamo, opposed the transfer as he did not want to lose more key players and is awaiting reinforcements for the season. Kennedy Boateng's contract with Dinamo expires in the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 1.00m euros.
