Togolese international Kennedy Boateng has denied claims that he had already signed with Chinese club Shandong Taishan after Dinamo rejected winter offers for him. It was suggested the agreement would become valid in the summer when his contract with Dinamo expires. Speaking at a press conference, the 29-year-old defender called the information false, stating that he has not spoken to anyone about a transfer. He confirmed that while he did receive offers, Dinamo rejected them. The defender also stated that he has not signed any contract with Shandong and has not been in contact with any team from China, adding that when asked about a potential contract extension with Dinamo, it is uncertain. Boateng has made 27 appearances and scored 4 goals in the SuperLiga this season. The centre-back, who has 14 caps for Togo, has a current market value of €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt. FCSB has also been linked with the player.
