Having been unsuccessful in securing a new central defender at the close of the last transfer period, FCSB is now reportedly targeting Kennedy Boateng from rival side Dinamo. GSP.ro reports that indications point to the 28-year-old, a guaranteed starter for his current club, being on FCSB's radar. Boateng is set to enter the final half-year of his contract this winter, when FCSB is expected to initiate discussions for his move. The club could either negotiate a fee for a transfer in the winter or wait to sign him for free next summer. The defender is also seeking a salary increase, reportedly demanding 20,000 euros per month in his next deal. According to Transfermarkt, the Togolese international currently holds a market valuation of €1.00m.
