Kemal Ademi leaving Osijek?
Osijek no longer wants Kemal Ademi in the team, and he was not taken to the preparations. Despite a generous offer from the club to terminate his contract a year early, an agreement has not yet been reached. Osijek is seeking to end his contract, but it's clear that Ademi has played his last match for the club.
Kemal Ademi, although not in the main plans of Simon Rožman, rejected the possibility of a mutual contract termination with Osijek. The club offered him a severance package equivalent to 10 months' salary, totaling 300,000 euros, despite still owing him 390,000 euros (one salary from last season and 12 for the new season). The 29-year-old forward declined the offer and will remain with Osijek for the time being, at least on paper.
Kemal Ademi has been informed that he is no longer in the club's plans. He has been given leave until July 18, during which a solution is expected to be found, whether it be a loan, transfer, or mutual contract termination. Osijek holds his contract for another year. There is a speculation about offering Ademi to Flamengo, although no formal offer has been made yet.
Kemal Ademi was brought last summer with guarantees from the former sports director Jose Bota that the experienced Swiss could replace Ramon Mierez. He ended the season without a goal and was sidelined, training separately for almost two months. Osijek might try to negotiate a contract termination with him as he has one year left on his contract.
Kemal Ademi has been removed from the first team by the decision of coach Federico Coppitelli, with the full agreement of the club's management. Given that the coach no longer counts on him, it is presumed that the club will seek to terminate his contract. Ademi is the highest-paid player in Osijek but has not scored or assisted in nine league appearances.
