Eintracht Frankfurt has announced the signing of Keito Kumashiro, an 18-year-old Japanese forward who will join the club in January from Roasso Kumamoto of the Japanese second division. During the last season with his former team, he scored 8 goals in 21 matches. Kumashiro also has youth international experience; he made his debut for Japan's U16 team at 14 years old and scored three goals in six games. Sporting director Timmo Hardung stated that Eintracht has acquired a very talented forward who possesses early professional experience. Hardung added that the initial focus will be on the player's development and acclimatization because the move to Europe and the Bundesliga is a significant step.
