Transfer journalist Mounir Boualin reported that FC Twente is interested in Kayne van Oevelen. The Dutch FC Volendam goalkeeper is also reportedly the subject of interest from clubs abroad. Erik ten Hag, Twente’s technical director, has reportedly had a conversation with the 22-year-old, though he is also considering other individuals for the position. Van Oevelen, whose contract at Volendam is valid until mid-2028, has previously stated his desire for a transfer, adding that the process is in progress and that his current focus is on making the correct decision. The goalkeeper, who joined Volendam in July 2022, made 32 appearances in the 2025/2026 Eredivisie season. SV Werder Bremen has also been associated with the player, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.00m.
