Karoy Anderson has completed a permanent transfer to Blackpool. Blackpool's opening bid for Anderson was made at the end of June, and the fee has not been disclosed. He has signed a four-year contract with a club option for another 12 months. Anderson was on loan at Blackpool for the second half of last season, featuring 16 times and starting their final four matches. Blackpool head coach Ian Evatt said it was well-known that they wanted to bring Anderson back to the club as soon as last season finished. He added that it took some time to complete the deal, but he is delighted to be able to work with Anderson again.

Academy graduate and Jamaican international Karoy Anderson, a central midfielder, has joined Blackpool on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. The 21-year-old has featured 13 times for the Addicks in all competitions this season. Managing Director James Rodwell explained that the club is pleased with the progress Anderson has made, noting his important contributions. He added that at this stage of his development, the club believes consistent first-team football is what he needs and that the move to Blackpool is expected to be a very suitable one. Anderson, who has 18 caps for Jamaica, is under contract at Charlton until 2028 and has a Transfermarkt market value of €350k. In 10 Championship appearances this season, he has provided one assist. Wycombe Wanderers had also been linked with the player.
