Kamil Piątkowski Transfer from Red Bull Salzburg to Legia Warszawa

Kamil Piątkowski joined Legia Warszawa from RB Salzburg. His transfer was discussed critically by commentator Wojciech Kowalczyk, who referenced his previous struggles at Granada. Piątkowski debuted for Legia against Radomiak Radom.

Kamil Piątkowski was transferred from Red Bull Salzburg to Legia Warszawa for 2 million euro in the summer of 2025.

Kamil Piątkowski has committed to a four-year deal with Legia Warszawa. Although he was under contract with Salzburg and on loan to Kasimpasa, Piątkowski opted to join Legia. Initially, the transfer process was gradual, but it gained momentum and concluded swiftly. According to his agent Maciej Zieliński, the initial delay in transfer negotiations was due to Piątkowski's health conditions, which once resolved, allowed the transfer to be completed. Piątkowski regards this move as a fresh start rather than a regression, acknowledging the increasing prominence of the Ekstraklasa and Legia's ambitions in both the league and the UEFA Conference League.

Kamil Piątkowski has definitively left Salzburg and signed a contract with Legia Warszawa until June 30, 2029. The transfer was confirmed by Legia Warszawa on Saturday evening. The transfer fee was not disclosed, but it is suggested by Maciej Zieliński, from ProSport Manager agency, that the overall package might rank among the top 3-4 transfers in the history of Ekstraklasa. The top transfer in Ekstraklasa history is 2.5 million euros, with the third and fourth being around 2 million euros. The agreement includes bonuses that could elevate the cost to this level.

Kamil Piątkowski has officially joined Legia Warszawa, signing a contract until June 30, 2029. The transfer marks his departure from Red Bull Salzburg. Although the transfer fee remains undisclosed, Piątkowski is expected to bring stability and experience to the team.

Kamil Piątkowski is set to transfer to Legia Warszawa. The transfer was heavily dependent on Legia's qualification for the group stage of a European cup. Following their successful qualification, there are no longer any obstacles to finalizing the transfer. The player is expected to travel to Warsaw in the coming days to sign the necessary documents. He was previously on loan at Kasımpaşa SK but returned to Red Bull Salzburg this summer. However, the Austrian club does not see a future with the Polish player, prompting his decision to move to Legia Warszawa.

Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl reported that Polish central defender Kamil Piątkowski is on the verge of joining Legia Warszawa. The deal is in its final stages, with the player expected to arrive in Warsaw shortly. This potential acquisition is perceived as bringing in a successor to Jan Ziółkowski, who is nearing a deal with Roma. Piątkowski, currently under contract with Red Bull Salzburg until June 30, 2026, had previously reached a preliminary agreement with Udinese Calcio and had drawn interest from Cagliari Calcio and Getafe. Nevertheless, it now seems he will be making a move back to Poland. The 25-year-old, who played in Poland until 2021 before transferring to Austria from Raków Częstochowa for six million euros, has since been loaned to Gent, Granada, and Kasimpasa, where he made 13 appearances in the Turkish league last season.
