Dani de Wit believes Kaj Sierhuis, a 27-year-old Dutch striker, would be a great addition for FC Utrecht, describing him as a very good player and a pleasant person who would be beneficial for the group. De Wit told Algemeen Dagblad that the Fortuna Sittard striker's contract is set to expire at the end of the season. De Wit and Sierhuis were both trained at Ajax and also played alongside each other for Jong Oranje. Amid growing rumors of Sierhuis moving to FC Utrecht, De Wit expressed his sincere hope that the speculation is accurate and confirmed he has already messaged Sierhuis about the potential transfer. Sierhuis joined Fortuna Sittard in August 2023. In the current Eredivisie season, he has scored one goal and provided four assists in 10 appearances. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.30m.
