Cruzeiro announced through its official channels that Kaio Jorge has signed with the club until 2030.

According to ESPN BR, Marquito Maciel, a member of Kaio Jorge's staff, has provided details regarding the release clause in the player's imminent contract extension with Cruzeiro. Maciel stated that the release clause for transfers abroad will remain at 100 million euros. He also mentioned an understanding exists where talks can begin from 30 million euros if there is interest from a major European club with a top project that Kaio Jorge likes and Cruzeiro is interested in the deal. It was also clarified that the release clause is not set at 30 million euros from 2027.

Kaio Jorge extended his contract with Cruzeiro. ESPN reported that the new agreement is valid until 2030, the previous one was valid until 2028, and the player will receive a salary increase.
