28-year-old German left-back Kai Wagner is joining English second-division club Birmingham City, leaving Major League Soccer after nearly seven years. The player, who joined Philadelphia Union from the Würzburger Kickers in 2019, is already in England for the move, which will cost a fixed fee of 2.3 million euros. His contract with Philadelphia Union was scheduled to expire in December 2026 and his current market value is €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
