Yvan Dibango, a 24-year-old Cameroonian, is LASK's fourth new signing of the summer transfer window. The defender, who was called up to the Cameroon national team in 2024 but has yet to make his debut, has joined on a free transfer from Ukrainian top-flight club Kryvbas Kryvyi, signing a contract in Linz until the summer of 2029. LASK sporting director Dino Buric described the new acquisition as a physically strong player who can be used flexibly on the left side in both a back-five and a back-four formation. Buric added that Dibango has very good tackling and defensive skills but also frequently contributes to the attack. Dibango himself expressed his conviction that LASK is the ideal club to continue his development and take the next step in his career, stating he is looking forward to getting to know his new teammates. Dibango joined Kryvbas in February 2024 and provided 3 assists in 19 Premier Liga appearances during the 25/26 season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.30m.
