Fussballtransfers.com reports that Dejan Ljubicic has received two concrete inquiries, including one from LASK. Regarding the rumors, Dejan Ljubicic said there is no substance to them and that he is a Schalke player. He stated that he arrived in the winter and signed for two years. Ljubicic also said that in football, you cannot rule anything out, explaining that he signed for four years with Dinamo Zagreb and was gone after half a year. It is reported that a move to LASK will apparently not take place, but that Ljubicic is leaving a possibility for a move.

FT reports that Dejan Ljubicic has received two concrete inquiries, one of which is from LASK. A potential sale would require a significantly higher sum than the 750,000 euros Schalke paid to Zagreb for Ljubicic in January. LASK's secured additional income from the Champions League group stage makes another investment possible.

LASK, the reigning domestic double winner, is interested in signing 28-year-old defensive midfielder Dejan Ljubicic from Schalke 04. It is said that the Linz-based club has already submitted a specific inquiry. The Austrian international, who would join his brother Robert at LASK if a transfer occurs, moved to the Gelsenkirchen club in the winter from Dinamo Zagreb for a fee of 750,000 euros. He contributed five goals and three assists in 16 games, helping Schalke achieve promotion to the Bundesliga. It is reported that his current club is dependent on income and could potentially face a points deduction. Ljubicic has 9 caps and one goal for Austria and has a contract with Schalke until 2028. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €3.00m.
