Julius Berthel Askou is a 20-year-old Danish OB centre-back. According to TV 2 Fyn, FC Copenhagen has shown interest in him this summer. The same source had previously reported earlier in the summer that Askou was close to a transfer to Werder Bremen, but the transfer was not completed. TV 2 Fyn also writes that the interest from Copenhagen is not expected to result in a transfer, as the anticipation is that Askou will remain at OB. Askou joined Odense Boldklub in July 2024 and has a contract until June 30, 2027. He has 5 caps for the Denmark U21 national team and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
