Julien Ponceau Transfer from Lorient to Real Valladolid
Julien Ponceau has joined Real Valladolid as a free agent, signing a contract that extends until June 30, 2028, as confirmed by the club in a press release. Ponceau, who holds dual nationality, expressed his intention to contribute to Real Valladolid's aspirations of returning to La Liga. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder started his career in the youth setups of US Saint-Évarzec and US Concarneau before transferring to FC Lorient in 2015. He made his debut with Lorient's first team at the age of 17 and represented France in various youth national teams. Ponceau experienced loan spells at Rodez AF and Nimes Olympique in Ligue 2 before securing a regular place in Lorient's first team, where he participated in 63 matches over two seasons in Ligue 1. In the previous season, he played 30 matches in France's second division, contributing to Lorient's promotion back to Ligue 1. Now, he is set to embrace a new challenge at Valladolid, expressing eagerness to grow professionally and assist the team in achieving promotion back to La Liga.
