An agreement has been reached between Ajax and FC Andorra for the loan of Julian Rijkhoff. The forward's loan to the club, which plays in the Spanish second division, is for the current season and lasts until the summer of 2027. Included in the loan agreement is a purchase option for FC Andorra. Furthermore, Rijkhoff's contract with the Amsterdam club has been extended by one year, now running until June 30, 2028, with an option for an additional season.

Voetbalprimeur.nl reports that Julian Rijkhoff will play on loan for Andorra FC next season and that the loan deal includes an option to buy for the club. Rijkhoff is a striker from Ajax. Andorra FC, where former FC Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué is involved, plays in the second tier of Spain. The reason for the loan is that Ajax prefers Don-Angelo Konadu over Rijkhoff. Jordi Cruijff extended Rijkhoff's contract.

Dutch centre-forward Julian Rijkhoff, 21, is among 21 players that Ajax has placed on the online transfer platform TransferRoom. Ajax has stated that being placed on the list does not necessarily mean all 21 players must leave the club.
