According to a club statement via the Daily Record, Juan Ramirez has been notified by Boca Juniors that he is available for transfer and is training separately from the main group.

According to TYC, Juan Ramírez must return to Boca after his loan at Lanús. Because his contract ends in December 2025 and Boca may not consider him, he will need to renew his contract to go on loan again. Alternatively, he could terminate his contract.

Juan Ramírez was previously on the radar of Estudiantes de La Plata.
