César Luis Merlo reports that 28-year-old Mexican centre-back Juan José Purata is moving to Guadalajara. He is traveling to Guadalajara to undergo medical examinations and sign a contract in the coming hours. Tigres has agreed to loan the player for one year with an option to buy. The defender has one cap for Mexico and joined Tigres in July 2018, with a contract that is valid until 2029. Transfermarkt lists his current market value as €3.50m. Atlas has also recently been linked with an interest in him.
