Juan José Perea, previously on loan to FC Zürich, is not in VfB Stuttgart's plans due to an Achilles tendon injury. He was initially acquired for 2.2 million Euros from PAS Ioannina. Like Silas, his injury and unclear recovery time make a transfer difficult, and contract termination is a last resort option for Stuttgart.
