Villarreal and Argentine defender Juan Foyth have reached an agreement to extend his contract until 2029. The agreement was announced before the Trofeo de La Cerámica, and the club's president, Fernando Roig, presented Foyth with a commemorative jersey on the stadium field. Foyth joined Villarreal in the summer of 2020 from Tottenham, initially on loan and then permanently for around 15 million euros. The club is looking to extend Foyth's contract for at least two more seasons, recognizing him as a key player for the coach over the past three seasons at Villarreal. According to Transfermarkt, Foyth's current market value is estimated at 15 million euros.
