Juan Castillo, the 25-year-old Dominican Republic international left-back with 5 caps, is drawing transfer interest following RKC Waalwijk’s relegation from the Eredivisie. A former Ajax and Chelsea player, Castillo has become available for a move this summer, and two weeks ago Danish club Viborg submitted a €200K bid for his services. More recently, attention has turned to Sweden, where his agent has held discussions with Hammarby. The Stockholm side are currently pursuing their primary left-back target, but if that deal collapses, Castillo is expected to be a strong candidate to join the Allsvenskan club.
