León has officially confirmed the signing of Juan Pablo Domínguez for the Clausura 2026 tournament. The club announced the arrival of the 27-year-old Mexican winger, who was a two-time champion with Toluca, through an unconventional video on social media that recreated a penalty miss from a final. This transfer reunites Domínguez with manager Ignacio Ambriz, who previously coached him during his first tournament at Toluca. Before joining Toluca, the player had a six-month loan spell at Necaxa and also played for Atlante. Domínguez is expected to join León's preseason once all contractual procedures are complete. According to Transfermarkt, the uncapped Mexico international has a current market value of €2.50m. He recorded one goal and three assists for Toluca in the 2025/2026 Apertura season.
