Juan Cruz Transfer from Leganés to Osasuna

Mundo Deportivo reports on Osasuna's interest in acquiring Juan Cruz, who wants to play in Primera División. They have offered around five million euros, matching his market value according to 'Transfermarkt'. However, Leganés has rejected the offer. Juan Cruz has declared himself in rebellion during the pre-season and has not played any friendly matches.

Osasuna is among the clubs showing interest in acquiring the Spanish-Argentinian winger Juan Cruz. Currently playing for Leganés, Cruz has indicated his wish to depart following the club's recent drop to the Segunda División. Under the management of Alessio Lisci, Osasuna is reportedly keen on securing his services, according to El Correo de Andalucía. Cruz's potential transfer from Leganés could cost between 4 and 6 million euros. Additionally, Rayo Vallecano has expressed interest and is nearing an agreement with Cruz, although they still need to negotiate terms with Leganés. Initially, Leganés demanded 10 million euros for his release, a figure that was reduced from his original 20 million euro release clause due to the club's relegation. Cruz, whose contract with Leganés extends until 2028, had an outstanding season, participating in 39 matches, scoring eight goals, and providing five assists. Real Betis holds a 40% stake in his rights.
