Cruz's potential transfer from Leganés could cost between 4 and 6 million euros. Additionally, Rayo Vallecano has expressed interest and is nearing an agreement with Cruz, although they still need to negotiate terms with Leganés. Initially, Leganés demanded 10 million euros for his release, a figure that was reduced from his original 20 million euro release clause due to the club's relegation. Cruz, whose contract with Leganés extends until 2028, had an outstanding season, participating in 39 matches, scoring eight goals, and providing five assists. Real Betis holds a 40% stake in his rights.
