While U Cluj are not in a hurry to sell the Bosnia-Herzegovina international, it is considered likely that the footballer will be transferred to a club in either Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates, although there is also interest from Qatar. Lukić, who joined the club in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2029, scored 18 goals in 32 domestic league appearances in the 2025/2026 season. He has five caps and one goal for his country.
