Grêmio have agreed to sign attacking midfielder Jovane Cabral. The club is seeking market opportunities that do not involve transfer fees because of its delicate financial situation. The 28-year-old Cape Verdean international, who was a free agent, will join on a permanent deal to become another option for the attacking sector led by Luís Castro. Developed at Sporting in Portugal, Cabral has also played for Olympiacos, Salernitana, and Lazio. He has 30 caps and 3 goals for Cape Verde, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m. His arrival in Porto Alegre is scheduled for the upcoming Tuesday (14).
