Josh Doig Transfer from Sassuolo to Juventus
Josh Doig has reportedly become an unexpected transfer target for Juventus. The left back has attracted the attention of the Turin club after his contributions to Sassuolo's promotion back to Serie A. He played in 23 matches for Sassuolo during their successful campaign to return to the top division. Doig, who had a previous 18-month stint at Hellas Verona and joined Sassuolo in January 2024 after a proposed transfer to Marseille did not materialize, is now being monitored by Juventus, as reported by SportMediaset via Il Primato Nazionale. Juventus, coached by Igor Tudor, secured a top-four finish in Serie A last season and are aiming to enhance their squad. Should Doig make the transfer, he would become only the second Scottish player to join Juventus, following in the footsteps of Willie Aitken, who played for the club from 1928 to 1930.
