Josh Campbell's position is described as one to monitor. If he is not likely to start regularly, there may be a question over whether Hibs want to keep the squad player or if an opportunity elsewhere would be beneficial for all involved. By the end of the day, Hibs may have found a different opportunity for Campbell.

Scottish attacking midfielder Josh Campbell may want to seek more frequent playing time as regular minutes might be difficult to secure due to increased midfield competition. He is approaching the prime years of his career at age 26, and it is suggested that moving to a new club could be best for his development as a player. Campbell, who joined Hibernian FC in July 2021 and has a contract until May 2027, has two caps for the Scotland U21 team. His current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
