Piotr Potępa stated that a return for José Pozo to Śląsk Wrocław is not currently a topic of discussion. Pozo is a 29-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder who may leave Pogoń Szczecin this winter. Officials at Śląsk Wrocław had discussed the potential reacquisition of the player's rights but have not proceeded with any action on the matter. Other Polish clubs are reportedly interested in the Spanish player. According to Piotr Koźmiński of Goal.pl, Pozo recently rejected offers from Cyprus and Turkey because he intends to continue his career in Poland, where initial inquiries are starting to be made. Pozo joined Pogoń in July 2025, and his contract is valid until June 30, 2027. He has provided one assist in 12 Ekstraklasa appearances this season. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €400k.
