José Marsa wants to take the next step, and KV Mechelen is aware that a transfer is the best solution because he has only one year remaining on his contract. A new contract does not appear to be likely. KV Mechelen would like to receive an amount which, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at 3.5 million euros.

According to Voetbalnieuws.be, a departure from KV Mechelen is expected for José Marsa. He is entering the last year of his contract and has so far not accepted a proposal for an extension. The KV Mechelen board is therefore seeking a transfer to avoid him leaving for no transfer fee next year. Marsa's market value is three and a half million.

José Marsà is receiving interest from Spain after playing a good season for KV Mechelen. He was bought from FC Andorra for 160,000 euros and has become a key player.
