Jorman Campuzano Transfer from Boca Juniors to Atlético Nacional

Atlético Nacional has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Boca Juniors to purchase the rights of Colombian midfielder Jorman Campuzano. After enduring tough negotiations and several rejected offers, the Colombian club successfully persuaded Boca Juniors to agree to the sale. Campuzano, who spent last year on loan at Atlético Nacional, had returned to Boca Juniors due to an existing contract that runs until June 30, 2026. Atlético Nacional consistently expressed their desire to acquire Campuzano on a permanent basis but understood that another loan was not feasible. Initially, they proposed 1 million dollars, which Boca Juniors rejected, followed by offers of 1.2 and 1.5 million dollars, which were also declined. Ultimately, on Monday, July 7, a verbal agreement was reached for the transfer at a value of 1.7 million dollars for 100% of his rights, according to journalist Germán García Grova. Campuzano is set to sign a three-year contract, which will extend until June 30, 2028.

Boca Juniors is interested in selling but wants an offer closer to the player's release clause of 2.5 million dollars. Journalist César Luis Merlo confirmed the rejection of the initial proposal and mentioned that a second offer from Nacional is expected as they want to retain Campuzano for the Copa Libertadores and Liga 2025-II.

Atlético Nacional is negotiating with Boca Juniors to purchase the full rights of Jorman Campuzano, who is currently on loan. Campuzano is valued at $1.5 million according to Transfermarkt. Boca Juniors had offered a deal involving Campuzano and $5 million in exchange for Marino Hinestroza, which was rejected by Atlético Nacional.

Atlético Nacional is considering exercising the purchase option for Jorman Campuzano due to his good performance. The option is priced at 2,500,000 dollars for the full rights of the player.

Jorman Campuzano is currently on loan from Boca Juniors to Atlético Nacional. He has been loaned out twice due to personal challenges that affected his performance at Boca. Campuzano's loan is set to end in a little over three months, and he is uncertain about his future, acknowledging the difficulty of returning to Boca. He mentioned having offers from Mexican and Brazilian football clubs, but chose to return to Atlético Nacional, a club that significantly impacted his career.
