Jordi Sánchez Transfer from Consadole Sapporo to Zagłębie Lubin
Leszek Ojrzyński confirmed that 31-year-old Spanish centre-forward Jordi Sánchez is a candidate to strengthen Zagłębie Lubin's attack, but only on the condition that the club is unable to acquire its primary target, Leonardo Rocha. The club's priority is to sign Rocha from Raków Częstochowa on a permanent basis, which would require activating a buyout clause of almost one million euros and agreeing to personal terms with him. Ojrzyński stated that Sánchez was considered in the previous transfer window because the club was seeking a tall number nine, and that they will revisit this option if he is available. The striker has been with the Japanese club Consadole Sapporo for the last 18 months. According to a mid-December report from Łukasz Olkowicz, 'Miedziowi' were attempting to sign the player, who formerly played for Widzew Łódź. His contract with the Japanese club expires on June 30, 2026, and his Transfermarkt valuation is currently €300k.
