Championship newcomers West Ham are said to be among the admirers of 21-year-old midfielder Jordan James, who appears set to leave Rennes and return to England this summer. Crystal Palace are also interested, and Alan Nixon reports that they are planning to bid £10 million for the Wales international. James has 26 caps and 1 goal for his country. Rennes is looking for a fee of €15m (£13m) to sell James. A transfer would also impact his former club, Blues, who reportedly have a sell-on clause for 10 percent of the profit the French club makes. His current Transfermarkt market value is €12.00m.
