Birmingham City has confirmed that Jonathan Panzo, a 25-year-old English centre-back, has been released by the club at the end of his contract. Panzo joined Blues from the Portuguese side Rio Ave in January on a six-month contract, hoping to secure a longer deal at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park. He departs after making nine appearances. The former England U21 international has 5 caps for the team and has a current market value of €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
