Zenit submitted a proposal to Cruzeiro at the beginning of December for 21-year-old Brazilian defender Jonathan Jesus. According to ESPN, the potential value of the deal reaches up to €8 million. The Russian club's offer consists of a fixed payment of €7 million, which would be delivered in two equal installments, and a possible €1 million in performance-based bonuses. Jonathan Jesus's contract with the Brazilian club is valid until 2029. He joined Cruzeiro in July 2024 and, according to Transfermarkt, has a current market value of €2.50m.
