Union Saint-Gilloise is looking for a potential successor for goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen, who is drawing interest from English clubs Ipswich Town and Leeds United. The club is targeting Jonas Kersken as a replacement. Kersken, a 25-year-old German and English goalkeeper, is under contract at Arminia Bielefeld and has a market value of one million euros. He joined Arminia Bielefeld in July 2024.
