Football Insider claims Celtic are considering a move for Dundee's Scottish goalkeeper Jon McCracken, who is on their radar at Lennoxtown. The 25-year-old will be out of contract in the summer, which would allow Celtic to sign him without a transfer fee. He is seen as a potential replacement for Kasper Schmeichel, who is likely to leave Parkhead when his contract expires. McCracken would be brought in to provide competition for the current number one, Viljami Sinisalo. The same publication reports that multiple EFL Championship clubs are also monitoring the goalkeeper, which could complicate any potential deal. McCracken joined Dundee in July 2024 and has made 32 appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €500k.
