SC Freiburg and Newcastle United have reached an understanding for the transfer of Johan Manzambi for a fee of €60 million. The deal is not yet final because the Premier League club is still working to reach a personal agreement with the Swiss midfielder. Aston Villa is also said to have shown interest in Manzambi, who recorded 7 goals and 7 assists in 38 appearances in the 2025/2026 Bundesliga season.
