Joel Bichsel, a key player for Saarbrücken, is reportedly being considered by 1. FC Magdeburg along with two other German second-division clubs, Greuther Fürth and Kaiserslautern. Saarbrücken's sports director, Jürgen Luginger, has stated that no contact has been made regarding Bichsel and that an approach is not welcome.
