Real Betis has officially announced that Joao Gabriel will be loaned to UD Ibiza, where he will play this season again in the Primera Federación. The 20-year-old right winger joined last season from CA Porto in Brazil but did not have a great season with Betis's B team, playing 21 matches, starting only seven, and neither scoring nor assisting. Betis Deportivo will kick off their season this Sunday against Teruel, but will do so without Gabriel, who is expected to gain more experience and playing time with UD Ibiza.
