Charlton Athletic and Premier League side Crystal Palace are finalising an agreement for the permanent signing of Ghanaian international winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. The 23-year-old is at the Sparrows Lane training ground to undergo a medical and sign his contract. Rak-Sakyi, who is in the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace, was expected to leave in the summer. Interest had also been shown in him by Wrexham and Burnley, but he is now returning to his former loan club. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is €6.00m. In January and February 2026, Crystal Palace's asking price was reportedly an £8 million obligation-to-buy fee. A reported bid of £10 million from Southampton was rejected during the summer of 2025.
