Portsmouth have submitted a bid of approximately £1m for Antalyaspor defensive midfielder Jesper Ceesay. The Championship club faces competition for the 24-year-old Gambian international, who also holds Swedish citizenship. It is reported that Saudi Pro League side Al-Fateh have also made a bid for him. A summer departure for Ceesay, who has been in Türkiye for one season, is possible after his club was relegated from the country's top division. Ceesay, who has three caps for The Gambia, is contracted until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
