According to reports in Spain, Real Oviedo has joined Las Palmas and Getafe in competing to sign striker Jefté Betancor. The 33-year-old is expected to leave Albacete after a season in which he scored 14 goals in 38 LaLiga2 appearances, and is looking for his next club. He is currently on loan at Albacete from Greek club Olympiacos Piraeus, with his contract there running until June 2027. Following their relegation from La Liga, Real Oviedo aims to build a team for an immediate return to the top division, and the Spanish forward is among the options being considered for their attack.
