Como is planning a contract extension for 30-year-old French goalkeeper Jean Butez. It is reported that the club is ready to offer a new deal until 2029 or 2030. Butez joined Como in January 2025 for a reported fee of €2-3 million and has made 30 appearances in Serie A this season. The goalkeeper's current contract expires in June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a market value of €4.50m. He has recently been linked with Napoli.
