Javi Morcillo is a 20-year-old Spanish central midfielder from Atletico Madrid's second team and is set to leave the club. He made five appearances for Diego Simeone's senior squad last year. Atletico Madrid and Elche have finalized an agreement for the player's transfer for a fee of 1.5 million euros, and Atletico will retain 50% of his rights. Anderlecht, Famalicão, and Levante had also expressed interest in the midfielder. Morcillo joined Atlético Madrileño in July 2025 and has a contract until 2028.
