Jarell Quansah Transfer from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Manchester United
Manchester United are in active contract talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal for 23-year-old England international centre-back Jarell Quansah and have also been in contact with the player's representatives. The club faces competition from Arsenal, who are also in discussions with the Bundesliga side. Leverkusen are set to demand a fee significantly higher than the €35m they paid for Quansah in July 2025, and a potential large gap in valuation between Arsenal and the German club could create an opportunity for Manchester United in the negotiations. According to Bild, the player's former club Liverpool had an €80m buy-back option this summer which has now expired, and while they may have a €60m option in 12 months, they are not currently in a position to exercise it. The defender, who has 6 caps for England, is under contract with Leverkusen until 2030 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €45.00m.
