Hull City, who have been promoted to the Premier League, have identified 23-year-old Young Boys player and Algerian international Jaouen Hadjam for the left-back position and are pursuing him. The club faces competition for Hadjam, as some Bundesliga teams are also in contention. Fabrizio Romano had previously mentioned interest from the Italian club Côme. The Algerian international has 19 caps for his country and is under contract with the Swiss club until 2028. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 20 appearances in the Super League, contributing two goals and four assists. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €7.00m, and in April 2025, the asking price from Young Boys was reported to be around €7 million.
