Brentford are close to an agreement to sign Jannik Schuster, a 19-year-old Austrian centre-back, from RB Salzburg. It is understood that the deal is for a package valued at €20m. A verbal agreement is reportedly in place between the clubs, and the transfer is expected to be completed soon. Schuster joined Salzburg in June 2025. He has earned 5 caps for the Austria U21 national team, scoring one goal. His current market value is listed at €3.50m.
